No 20 Bentwood Chairs

After the Thonet number 14 Bentwood Chair, these number 20 bentwood chairs were also very popular chairs. First produced by Thonet, but thereafter were also made by many other manufacturers.
C143. This chair has an old Thonet ticket so made between 1873 to 1881, may be the first of mine produced. It has its original cane in quite good condition. It was not in the 1866 catalogue but was in 1873, so production would have been between those dates.

Same style of chair, different manufacturer...

C095. This chair is by Josef Jaworek, the label is not complete but seems to be an earlier Jaworek label. The chair has had its cane replaced
This is the ticket used on this chair
C311. There's no label on this one but it has a very fine back so could be older. The cane has been replaced
C226. These chairs were made by Fischel, who started production in 1870. They have no labels ,only a stamp which is etched in white on a flat surface so could be an older model. Thonet put stamps on flat surface till 1881 (did other makers do the same?). They also have side supports which they started using from approximately 1870. The cane has been replaced.
C227. By Thonet, it has no label but a Thonet stamp on the flat surface so an earlier model (stamps on flat surfaces from 1870 to 1881). The cane has been replaced.
